Magnetic Coppers!

Earlier this evening, I made an amazing discovery. The UK's cupro-nickel coins, or at least the new ones, now contain ferrous material. That means, they're magnetic.

Don't believe me? I shot a video to prove it.

The coin on the left, is an old 1989 2p coin, the one on the right, a new 2007 edition 2p coin

When did they change the materials that they put in the coins?
